I mentioned to some of the Primal Malibu retreat attendees last week that I like to prepare meals in advance. After learning that many of them were seeking new Paleo/ Primal recipe ideas, one of the attendees suggested I post the recipes I make for the week and perhaps they could either follow along or at the very minimum see if there was anything they would like to rotate into their repertoire. Although I am not strict Paleo and do incorporate some cheese and dairy into my diet, I do try to keep it to a minimum and I usually don’t intentionally choose as many recipes with dairy products. That way if they sneak in here and there, it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t overwhelm my gut. I usually make a list and shop for all of the necessary items the day before and I also shop for extra vegetables to add to the meals throughout the week. As long as I have the bulk of the work done in advance, I can easily throw a salad together or cook some extra vegetables throughout the week.
